How to piss off a tOSU fan.

Odds are 3/1 (according to gambling websites) that Kyle Whittingham from Utah will be the guy at SC if he wants the job.

I don't think Pat Haden will be the one making the hire though. He's probably going to get the axe today.

Back on topic, this is Harbaugh's M.O.: Get job at struggling (or brand new) program, light multiple fires under multiple asses. Look pissed off all the time, yell a lot, and win. He's done it at USD, Stanford, San Francisco and now at Michigan. I'm not surprised at all.

2-3 Oregon State (1 FBS win over San Jose State) 2-4 UNLV (1 FBS win over Nevada) 4-2 BYU (an okay team with a home win over Boise) 2-4 Maryland (1 FBS win over South Florida) 5-1 Northwestern (they look like a good team with 2 quality wins)

They're good. Nobody knows if they're that good.

I mean we could say the same thing about everyone's schedule 6 weeks in. Who have LSU's opponents beaten? Who have TCU's? Who have OSU's?

Michigan is doing what a good team should to less than good competition. LSU struggled with Syracuse, OSU struggled with Indiana, Michigan is taking care of business

I'd only have a dollar, but the point still remains. It's happened before.

Very impressive. And I am a fan of JH's style. Solid D and power run game. His teams are games I try and watch, going back to Stanford. With everyone going to a spread, I could see him having even more success.

Who's pissed? There's one school Urban might leave tOSU for, and it's not USC.

no matter how you spin it, three straight shutouts is an amazing feat

I agree, but this week they are facing by far the best QB and offensive line they have played all year. Different challenge altogether for the defense.

Northwestern is a good DEFENSIVE team. Offensively they scored 12 against Duke, 16 against Stanford and 24 against Ball State. Not an offensive juggernaut at all

Its not what you are looking for exactly. But it is a good indication of that notion (they havent played anyone) being wrong.

Total Offense vs P5 Opponents:
1. LSU - 467.8
2. Texas A&M - 454.7
3. Alabama - 445
4. UGA - 435.3
5. Ole Miss - 411
6. Arkansas - 398.8
7. Tennessee - 389.3
8. MSU - 370
9. Vandy - 367
10. Kentucky - 336.3
11. Florida - 332.3
12. USC - 330
13. Auburn - 325.3
14. Mizzou - 298

Total Defense vs P5 Opponents
1. LSU - 300.5
2. Alabama - 305
3. Florida - 311.3
4. Kentucky - 333.3
5. Mizzou - 334.7
6. Texas A&M - 384.7
7. Georgia - 389
8. Ole Miss - 393.3
9. Auburn - 405.3
10. MSU - 414
11. Arkansas - 417.5
12. Tennessee - 419.5
13. Vanderbilt - 447
14. USC - 467.6

So they'e beaten three bottom of the barrel SEC teams (which the statistics bear out) and that stellar OOC schedule featuring Syracuse and Eastern Michigan while giving up a minimum of 21 points a game and this is an indicator that his premise was wrong?

I'm not shocked.

Did this his first year in SF too. Took a 6-10 team (I think that was the record the prior year) and put them in the NFCCG where they should have beat the Giants had the refs not fricked them at the end of the game with an obvious fumble that was overturned.

Harbaugh is the real deal. He changes everything. Changes the program that hires him, the conference he's in, and the whole landscape of CFB. Much like Saban or Carroll.

The guy can flat coach. Enjoy this time Michigan, it's about to be one helluva ride! Savor every second of it.

Its showing they have done the best in the SEC against the P5 they have played. Thus the following is exactly what LSU is doing on both ends of the ball.

idgaf who they are playing. They are winning. I will take winning anyday and someone saying "you didnt play anyone" over losing and people saying "oh they had the toughest schedule"

bottom line.... losing dont mean shite! I dont care how good your competetion is! Losing gets you nothing
