My bad...I didn't think Phillips was joking to be honest.
If he wants that ball, he needs to be better at baseball and be a SS(obviously not practical). That's the SS's ball every day all day on any level...because he wants it.
And I didn't see Phillips smile once. In fact, he looked annoyed as hell to me.

Shocked a Alabama fan knows so little about baseball. You are very dull if you think a MLB player would get actually angry over something as small as this on live television. He's jokingly giving the young kid a hard time. Do us all a favor and YouTube Andrus Elvis and Andrian Beltre to get a better understanding of how the world works

BP literally did the exact same thing last Saturday when Dansby caught an infield fly ball just over the second base side of the bag. He looked over at Dansby right after the catch, was mugging him pretty hard till Dansby looked over at him, then BP looked over at the bag, and started motioning with his hands where the invisible line is. I could tell immediately BP was just goofing off then, and even though I haven't seen this other instance, it sounds like the same exact tomfoolery. OP you should feel pretty stupid right now for getting upset over this. Have a down vote.
