They have a great farm system and people have pointed to it for a few years now. Baltimore needs to make hay before free agency gets them in a few years. How they became such a small market team after all their baseball history has been tough to watch. Pittsburgh too.

It’s fun to see the former St. Louis Browns do well. I first visited Camden Yards 12 years ago and was blown away. F Peter Angelos forever.

Side note: my old step dad was friends with and regularly did drugs with his brother Vince. I have fond memories of being left in the car as they would do drugs in Vince’s house.

I actually picked the Birds to win the AL East in WCA's preseason prediction thread, but little did I know Tampa woull be what they are this season...
From what I've read (good interview in Baseball Digest's Jan/Feb issue), their new GM is making some brilliant moves and they are spending more than ever.
I root for the Orioles when not rooting for my Texas Rangers.
