Dog days by all definitions ends at the all star break....

So we ain't picking a number just because.

We picking it bc it has significance.

Big difference. That only you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

So being 20-12 since the midway point is irrelevant? Interesting. I don't need Bill Simmons podcast to tell me that's average.

Last 10 - .700
Last 20 - .750
Last 30 - .630
Last 40 - .680
Last 50 - .700

Looks like they are pretty consistent at .700 or better except for one rough patch where they had a more games played than any other team in the league. And more road games than almost any team in history. On and it was dog days at that.

How so? For nearly half the year they've been playing .600 ball, not .700. Big difference.

No, for the half the year (40 games) they are playing .680 ball. Ie better than your OKC last season.

From the 42nd game to until now, Houston is 20-13, that is winning percentage of 60.6%. Math is hard.

I dunno that I've ever seen a year with 4 more deserving players than this year. Crazy really.

Russ
Lebron
Kawhi
Harden

All have very strong arguments.
