In your sporting life, what would it be? Maybe your team won the World Series and you didn't get to fully appreciate it because you were shitfaced. Maybe you missed a HUGE sporting event because of work/obligations and you still regret it to this day. Whatever your reason is, where would you go?

Mine happened January 26, 1992. The Washington Redskins faced the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVI. I was an 11 year old kid who loved his Redskins and as you can conclude, I've been a Skins fan my whole life. I was too young to appreciate the Super Bowl win and didn't have the forward thinking to imagine that it may never happen again in my lifetime.

The last 23 years have been tough for Skins fans. From the death of Sean Taylor, to the bust that RG3 is, there is little hope that another Super Bowl will happen. I wish I could revisit this particular moment and fully soak in the greatness. I couldn't grasp it at such a young age.

What's your moment?

1997 and 1998 Denver Broncos.
2004 and 2010 Auburn Tigers.
2008 Boston Celtics.

Witnessed all of these championships (minus 2004 Auburn), and they were glorious. Also witnessed some tough championship losses by the Detroit Tigers, Boston Celtics, Auburn Tigers and Denver Broncos.

I was too drunk (but not blacked out or anything) to fully enjoy Auburn's 2010 title game, so I'd like to go back and take it down a notch or two.

I also left the 2013 AU-UGA game (my seats, I mean) and watched the miracle catch from the concourse ramp/stairs. Glad I didn't leave completely, but I was surrounded by UGA fans and just couldn't bear to watch that one finish from my seat. Wish I had been there to see the emotional destruction.

Braves/Yanks '96 World Series. Seems like my last memory of "pure" baseball. Just a gritty series with a lot of hall of famers.

Edit: I'm sure there was some juicing going on but it hadn't blown up yet like a few years later.

Wow. I probably would've done the same, and had the same regret.

That game made me like the saints. That would be in my top three.

Seeing the 2009 Tennessee v Bama game would be good. As well as the 2009 SEC champ game.

2000 Ravens winning the Super Bowl was the happiest sporting event moment of my life. It was so enjoyable because of the ups and downs that team went through. There was the aftermath of the Ray Lewis 2000 murder trial, five games without scoring a touchdown, the team taking off after Tony Banks was benched for Trent Dilfer, and that insane defense. I don't think there will ever be another sports team that I love as much as the 2000 Ravens team.

The kick six. Was really drunk but remember the euphoria of the celebration and watching the gloom on the Bama fans faces.

None of our Bama friends would even go out after the game

Nice. Uncle took me to see one night of the track and field. Michael Johnson was FAST. That was a cool time for the city of ATL.

Interesting. Baltimore 2000 defense is top 3 all time in NFL history imho.
