...do they pull the trigger? Or do they ride with the sunk cost of the Carr contract?

If I'm New Orleans and this kid falls into my lap, there is no way I don't take him. He's a dynamic player that can throw from the pocket. You have to make that move.

Will the Saints take him? No
Should they? Yes
Will I personally melt regardless? Also yes

At some point, you have to take a QB round 1. What are the numbers on this? Are the Saints the last franchise to take a QB RD1?

Lol I’m a Saints fan and there is no fricking way we take a quarterback, much one on the level of Daniels. We will take a D2 lineman with a high RAS.

They should be tanking to try and get him. And if that isn’t enough they should be looking to trade up a few spots. But they need to make it happen.

Y’all think the saints will draft a LSU qb?

I predict he'll go to the Vikings and setup another LSU QB/WR combo.

They already have one Heisman winning quarterback... why would they want another one?

Because not all players that win the heisman fail in the pros

Any real LSU fan would want Daniels to have no part of the Saints. That team is going to be in salary cap hell for the next few years and will not be able to add any talent to help out a young QB. The Saints would ruin him.

And we'll trade up to take him.

If it means he goes to the current coaching staff, I hope they pass. This staff wouldn’t know what the hell to do with him.

No. QBs that have played for Brian Kelly do not translate to the NFL

They will get jumped and someone will take him. Just like the Mahomes saga

Mickey Loomis sounded so heart broken in his recent take with Haas.

He's in his feelings so most likely not good for the Saints.

if he can get out there and change up his thinking then maybe Daniels is the pick for the Saints.

For the Saints fans saying no way he'll be available; as a Dolphins fan I'll just remind you of 1983. There was absolutely no way Dan Marino was going to be available when Miami picked. Shula probably just about shite himself when he saw Dan dropping. So, you never know.
