If Cowboys win 5 of the next 7 and/or make playoffs, does Romo get NFL MVP?

I do have to say that the margin of the Cowboy's losses not under the helm of an injured Romo show how strong a team and defense that they have.

So, I guess...maybe not a legit question.

No. This is a variation of the "Peyton missing a year and the Colts only winning 2 games means he should be the MVP!" argument.

In this modern era, they will never give the award to someone who misses 7+ games.

No.

MVP race will be between Adrian Peterson, Tom Brady, Carson Palmer, Cam Newton and maybe a few others. Tony Romo will not be one of them.

I've read him in a couple articles, and through talk shows. Not to the extent of the quarterbacks mentioned, though.

nah, and he shouldn't be considered for the award. But there is no doubt he is the most important guy on the Cowboys roster. Sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes it's not

Cam Newtown is way more an MVP candidate now than he was 2 or 3 weeks ago.
