Why should other teams be forced to accommodate their religious beliefs by not playing on sunday?

They shouldn't. Either play on the scheduled date or forfeit.

And imagine how you would be reacting if it was Yeshiva University.

BYU has made the tourney and wasn't selected as a host site.

What if I opened a school and said the religion was LSUPRIDE87 religion. And our beliefs said people were not allowed to throw 90+ MPH to us

Clearly, I am being a douche with my example. But my point stands. There should be no exceptions made in sports for religion

I'd care if my team was planning its pitching rotation around a Friday-Sunday series and instead had to play a Thursday-Saturday series

The NCAA is a voluntary organization. BYU can either quit the NCAA or forfeit a game on Sunday. It's not that hard.

Totally plan on getting a BYU chick kicked out of school while in Houston for having the pre-marital sex.

I agree with you. I don't like that other teams have to be negatively affected by BYU's religion.

They would just bump the game to Monday.

There are far more important things to worry about bud.
