I hope we can draw Colorado in whatever the frick bowl. Only way a non playoff bowl would be remotely entertaining for me with bama. I remember when bowls were important that said I’ll watch them all. Could Colorado beat bama?

1) you just spoke how big of a fan you really are….more of a front runner.
2) Colorado still needs two more wins to be bowl eligible. Their remaining schedule: @#25 UCLA, #12 Oregon State, Arizona, @ Washington State and @ #14 Utah

Thr bowls are inherently no more or less important than they were during the BCS era. People just collectively decided that only the playoffs matter for some reason (probably media driven). Somehow when the BCS had a title game people still cared about the others

When the hell was this? If it wasn’t the natty it wasn’t important. I swear this weird retcon that bowl games were somehow important even with zero impact on who would be declared national champ is incredibly dumb
At least now you’ll have more post season games that are important with playoff expansion

I remember Barker was the QB for Bama and CU had switched out of the I-Bone and debuted new offense in the Bowl.
Other than that I have no idea when bowls were important except when you were a little kid and you got to watch the MIZLOU game and RAYCOM game

Bama would have to lose out to get matched up with Colorado - if they can get to a bowl.
