What would the reaction be?

Ohio State coming off a short week, JT looked really good, Cardale a bit beat up but wag probably the better choice vs VA Tech that plays extremely aggressively but were undersized up front, both are listed as starters in the depth chart this week, Urban Meyer said this week that his handling of the QBs will be extremely unorthodox.

I think it's a real possibility. Maybe it's just a fantasy since I think JT is the better fit for teams (cupcakes) like this.

Wasn't JT's first play like a 50 yard run? That run brought flashbacks to that snowy Minnesota game. I completely forgot how nifty he is. I hate you Ohio State for your quarterback situation.

40 yard run, followed by a beautiful 28 yard pump and go for a TD.

Urbs trying to pull a Chris Leak / Tim Tebow?

I could see it as well. It's not like the offenses are much different depending on which QB is in, but each QB brings just enough something different to the table that it could throw a defense off to prepare for one then get the other. It's already hard enough having to prepare for that offense, throw in the mystery QB factor and you may as well not even try.

I'm not sure if it's a genius or a fool move but questioning Myers ability to handle quaterbacks is undeniable foolish. They both run his scheme so well but with a different style.

Barrett and Jones are far superior to Leak/Tebow.

Brakes need to be pumped - it's damn near impossible to ride a 2-QB system to a NC, and Leak/Tebow pulled it off.

Would Urban trade Leak and Tebow for Cardale and JT?

That's a tough question.

I think Jones has potential to be Cam Newton esque - he's so physical in the run game he's nearly impossible to stop on short yardage, can extend broken plays with ease, plus has a big arm.

Barrett reminds me of a faster version of Leak.

Jones really is miles away from Cam who was a #1 pick - there is no way in hell that would happen for CJ. His numbers are pretty damn average too, tbh.

I agree Leak is obviously the worst of the four, but Tebow was scary good.

I was just referring to how they look on a college field. I think Cardale could run zone read and fall forward for 5 yards every time - dude is a load

He's got more power than Newton. And probably a little bigger arm.

It's not inconceivable that he goes #1.

I agree Cam is better though.

Cardale sucks at the zone read and speed option.

Agreed. Cam is single greatest 1-season college player of all time so I'm not calling Cardale that. But Cardale's physical prowess impresses me in a similar way Cam did - he just a large man out there

But not in 2006

2006 Leak/Tebow is no comparison to 2015 Jones/Barrett
