Just another example of what a complete clusterfrick the Atlanta Spirit Group is. One owner firing off emails demanding scorched earth policy, another saying he's not fired and the previous owner jumped the gun. How these morons got wealthy in the first place is beyond me.

I think this is more representative of the calamity that is ASG. Sounds like Gearon Jr. didn't like Ferry for some reason and decided to record the teleconference phone calls. Instead, he got another owner in deep shite.

I can understand why they may get upset over Ferry at the remarks, even repeated.
Bringing up the organization's "diversity" and Ferry setting it back, though, is PC horseshite. Sounds like someone wanted a bunch of people hired due to something other than "basketball reasons" and Ferry told them to go frick themselves.

The long-running shite show that is the Atlanta Hawks ownership situation is why teams need a SINGULAR owner, not up to eight idiots contradicting each other.
One owner may be a fricking retard but at least they can keep things consistent. These idiots are infighting and it's spilling over into the public, which has been a long-standing issue going back about 10 years and a prior ownership group IIRC.

This is bad. Even if he was reading a scouting report, you don't share that unless you had never read the report and just stumbled upon it. But I'm always a little skeptical when someone says they have a recording and only release a transcript.
