Riverside manager Troy Percival (remember him?) just got tossed after a botched rundown and missed tag scored the tying run...

it went from 9-4 Riverside to 10-9 Long Beach to 13-10 Riverside to 13-13 (and counting...)

i haven't even looked up these teams' records... sometimes a game is better when you don't care about them

Riverside won 14-13

nm... LBSU might be a bubble team and UCR has to win the tournament. Fullerton is on the bubble and UCSB is the only lock right now

Now I'm watching California and Arizona... Cal hit a HR with two out in the 11th to tie it at 5 and had a squeeze play to win in the 12th but the batter was called out bc his foot was on the plate.

Arizona hit a 3 run homer to win it 8-5 in 13 innings

This one is on ESPNU...

Was watching Liberty last weekend; they have a surprisingly nice facility. I've enjoyed ESPNs baseball coverage of small and mid sized schools.

Espn's recent streaming college baseball coverage explosion is possibly the greatest technological leap in the last 50-100 years.

wouldn't go that far... but yeah its a big effect on ratings to have more fans watching "their game" than a few preselected national games.
