I just traded K-Rod for Marco Scutaro.

before you judge, hear me out. i play in a 10 team, head to head league. k-rod was my only closer and I was DESPERATE for a 2b/SS...Jose Lopez was currently starting at 2b for me and he has been terrible.
so, basically, i was going to lose in saves every week considering I only had 1 closer...and Jose Lopez was killing my team's average.
thoughts?

So you conceded an entire category for Scutaro. You probably looked desperate and that's why someone cashed in with a mediocre position player being sent to you. Had you looked less desperate, you could have gotten more.
And as far as closers go, you can get them a dime a dozen as the season progresses as long as you scope the waiver wire. Manny Corpas?

capps for the pirates, the guy for tigers, etc etc. bad trade bad trade. i wouldn't give away any other players, by the way, interested in playing in a fantasy league next year....

i had already offered a lot of other people the same trade and they all declined it...
he was literally the ONLY player on my team, besides prince fielder, that I would even consider trading...
