And I’ve been a Saints fan since 1987.

Does this make me a dumbass?

Not at all. His time with the Oilers and Vikes was incredibly forgettable.

I saw him play for the Oilers on an exhibition game in the Dome in like 1982. Even though I was only 11, I knew seeing him in an Oilers jersey just didn't look right.

That’s like not knowing the last two teams Patrick Ewing played for. Or the last team for Olajuwon. Not a big deal.

Luck looks like a derpy combo of Eli Manning and Drew Brees there.

It was a different league. And they had Bum.

He got the best outcome. With Burroughs, White Shoes, and the Tyler Rose he woulda been lucky to get 20 receptions a year.

Killebrew finished with the Royals. Gretzky with the Rangers. Shaq with the Celtics. Franco Harris with the Seahawks.

71-82 with N.O.
82-83 with Houston
83-84 with Minnesota

ETA: It also didn't help his career that he played under 5 different coaches in N.O. over his 11 years here. That's a lot of offensive and defensive changes brought in by each coach.

Anyone with a brain knows that he was the only player worth a shite in New Orleans at that time. He was constantly running for his life so to say he was terrible is just stupid

I sure hope nobody tells you about Bobby Hebert and Morten Anderson playing for the Falcons. Oops.

I knew about those transactions first hand, lol.

I was 12 when the Hebert trade occurred. I read about it in The Advocate.

After the Eagles playoff game debacle, I was ready for the Saints to shake things up, and in 1993, a lot of changes took place. The Saints GM looked like a genius after that 5-0 start.

Oilers did pretty well with one of them QBs: Harold Warren Moon.
