I have been to maybe 75-100 college football games in my lifetime. The ONLY time I have ever left early was because we were getting our teeth kicked in.

I do not understand why "fans" leave early when their team is dominating. It's not exciting watching your team dominate and pad their stats?

It's the most bizarre thing I have ever seen in sports.

Spend all day tailgating and spending money, etc... then leave at halftime.

It's just weird.

If we are losing and there is no coming back, I leave on purpose to show the program that I am pissed for losing the game. But leaving while you are winning is a fricking disgrace

tailgating is just as much fun, if not more fun, than the games most of the time

its a social thing. if i was married with kids i would stay the whole game, but single college kids tryin to go meet up with hot chicks and get laid/drunk/high not watch the second half of a game where the backups are getting reps and the team is gonna run the ball 4 out of every 5 plays

I personally loved staying in the student section and then the team afterwards coming towards it to cheer with us. Their crazy victory chant plus everyone "ooooo...YEAH!" when the team sticks the pitchfork into the field = great fun.

Dominating an opponent that's only there for a paycheck isn't exciting. If Bama was beating USC or Oregon by 40, I would stay. I don't want to see us play FAU at all. Much less when we're up by 40.

The #2 team in the nation scheduling games against FAU and WCU is a disgrace.

Is this the thread where I brag about the fact that I stayed in BDS through the rain while up 41-0 yesterday?

Then why go to the game? You can stay at home and avoid traffic altogether, ya know?

Can't sustain their buzzes without alcohol sales in the stadium

If you have season tickets you go. But like mentioned, they are playing an FCS school. You stay and watch the starters play. If its Bama or someone like that, you stay.

Im a huge LSU fan but living in San Antonio. SO I cant go to games as much as I would like. But last night during the 4th Quarter I was watching the other games on more than LSU. Am I a phony lsu fan?
