All Flagships of their respective University System. They are the standard and any other branches are then differentiated with the location.
Not to mention I frequently hear UW @ Madison, UNC @ Chapel Hill, and UC @ Berkley quite frequently and no one gets upset. UT @ Austin isn't as frequent, but I've heard it from time to time and no jimmies were rustled.

I don't use UL when referring to them, I use either Louisiana or Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns. The school hasn't made a push to rename themselves, they've pushed for the re-branding of the athletic name

Yeah it's great. I'll try to get Paul to sign it at a public signing and just wait till NS retires and doesn't care as much anymore.

and if you google University of Louisiana Lafayette diploma you will see that it says Lafayette on there. Not University of Louisiana.

all im trying to say is that it shouldnt matter to people what fans refer to their schools as..idgaf if you say lsu. It doesnt bother me. So people shouldn't care if we refer to our school as UL
