I think Aaron Rodgers is the GOAT. I was just looking at younger players. It's why I chose Winston.

How many times has a defensive end single handedly won a football game in the history of the NFL?
Give me Derek Carr, Osweiler or Luck.

ETA: If age doesn't matter, it's Brady and it isn't even a question.

I hate Cam more than anything, but it would have to be him.

I'm a big of a Cam as any Carolina fan, but I'm not sure I could overlook those errant passes. He overthrows receivers way too often. If the Panthers didn't have that stout defense, I'm not sure we're celebrating Cam as much right now. He is a beast though.

It would have to be Aaron Rodgers. Seeing that Brady and Manning are playing close to 40, I think Rodgers has a good 6-7 seasons left in him. The league protects quarterbacks, and if he would learn to stop running so much, he could really extend his career. I know running is one of his best attributes, but he's a good enough passer to not need it.

I would also start with Carr. He's doing great things, I think he's a star in the making.

Going into last week their defense was ranked #11.

Yeah, people don't want to admit it, but he is carrying that team.

He's incredible. I knew he would be good, but damn he is just a winner.

But Cam, Luck, and Jameis are your only real options

More I watch Carr the more this is an absurd statement.

I'd take Mariota over Jameis but neither belong on the list imo.

Who do you get for a Head Coach?

This directly affects my choice.

Mariota >>>>> Winston.

Actually I think I'd take Mariota period as the answer to the question.

The gamble with Cam is that he's probably going to get hurt.

Cam has missed 2 games in almost 5 seasons.

How many has Luck missed just this year? 4 and counting?

People get hurt in the NFL. SHOCKING!

Good thing Cam and the offense got a lead on Indy and Green Bay this year since that "stout defense" shite the bed and let both of those teams almost come back and win it.

And that same defense let a career back-up QB that started in place of Brees earlier this year pass up and down the field on'em all damn day.

And, for most of the year, the Panthers scoring offense has statistically been ranked higher in the NFL this year than the Panthers scoring defense.

If you can't see that Newton is the broad-shoulders that carries the Panthers, its because you ain't lookin'.

Newton is a good player, but the defense has played a HUGEEEEEE part in their success. Just as much, if not more, then Cam has. What about games where Newton was horrendous this season, and the defense bailed him out? Like vs Philly? Vs Jax? Vs Seattle? He may have had a game winning drive, but no way he would've had the opportunity without his defense coming up clutch. He was average vs Dallas, but his defense gave him endless opportunities and even scored 2 touchdowns. Carolina is a great TEAM. I know y'all love Cam and I have to eat crow and say he;s been impressive, but that defense has made it to where Cam doesn't have to carry the team. They are solid all around. Kuechly is the best player on that entire team, and easily the best MLB in the league; he is having the highest grade of the PFF era. Norman has been the best corner in the league by a substantial margin; Cam wouldn't get all of these wins without this team around him.
