For those who cannot read (I'm not sure why I'm posting this since you can't read):

hy·poc·ri·sy
h?'päkr?se/
noun
the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; pretense.

Oh my goodness. You are hopeless. Read the OP.

I think what he's trying to say is that an NBA coach unloading on officials is not the moral equivalent to a presidential candidate saying nasty things about regular people. So, he doesn't see your point.

He thinks you're comparing apples and oranges.

Here's a coach who, while being bat shite crazy, never claimed to be better than the rest of us:

Unsurprising that a Pearl Jam fan comes in here to defend liberal hypocrisy

Last album I bought was Binaural after hearing Ed rail against GWB during the New Orleans show. Haven't bought or paid attention to the band since then. Was a Ten club member too

He seemed to hold the office of president in high regard and thought the manner in which the candidates acted and the response from those in attendance at the debates wasn't as dignified as he hoped. I don't think he said discourse between basketball coaches and referees was anything similar in context.
Maybe OP holds public figures like NBA coaches in high regard and thinks the manner in which Steve acted wasn't as dignified as he hoped.

I was the biggest Kerr fan until this year. Between this and constantly bringing up politics he's gotten really annoying.
