A ridiculous foul at halfcourt on a 90% free throw shooter.

It Was?

How about the missed foul on white WVU player dunking right before the Gonzaga 3?

They tried to screw WVU on the out of bounds call and I think hudled that long looking for any excuse to call it for Gonzaga.

There was shitty call after shitty call in that game but WVU took far more and in critical moments.

Yes the ref isn't going to let you bump a guy like 4 times even if you are putting your hands up. You have to be smarter than that.

Meh, shouldn't have been trying to go up on 3 guys anyway. They should have kicked it back out.

They didn't have to look at it. As dumb as it was to take that long they got it right.

There are terrible calls in every bball game, which is the games biggest flaw, but there was nothing egregious in the game tonight and certainly not down the stretch.

WVU blew it, big time.

But I can stomach is him more than some of those CATS who are POS's but go way out of their way to present themselves otherwise. 2 come to mind immediately.

I can definitely accept Huggy who embraces who he is. On the other hand you have Cal, who preaches that he is about players and development, yet he only cares about winning and consistently fails to "develop" players.

ETA: Cal has a lot of players in the NBA because he recruits a lot of players who are good enough to play in the NBA. Most of them meet or even fall below their pre-UK draft stock.

He was definitely one of the other two I was talking about.

Cal reminds me of a guy i know barely through a friend of mine. Very successful personal injury lawyer. When he sees me he calls me by name (though he barely knows me) looks me in the eye and is as nice as he could be, you'd think he's my best friend if you didn't know better.

But I to me it's not genuine, it's not real. And I think he knows it's not either but wants me to believe it is. But he knows that I know it's not. And the only folks who really buy it his family (in the case of this analogy...Kentucky fans and Jay Bilas).

I always wonder why his name doesn't come up more often when availabilities happen. I'd definitely try to poach him from WVU.

Because the chances of him leaving WVU are zero.

Huggins will always be a great coach to me after what happened to Desean Butler.

WVU is already a top 15 program and Huggins has a top 10 salary amongst NCAA coaches. He makes 3-4 million a year.

He's only going to coach 5 more years at the most, he's from Morgantown, played at WVU and half his family works for the school.

You'd have a better chance of pulling Calipari or Coach K.

He's a WVU guy, that ditch K-State the second the WVU job opened up. He's there for life.

Also, I think Huggins loves being the underdog. He has that sort of mentality. He doesn't belong at a blue blood... he'd hate it there. He wants angry kids who have been passed over and play with a chip on their shoulder. He doesn't want coddled superstars. Those aren't his type of players.

Man, I love Huggy Bear. Besides, he can lose in the second weekend for the rest of his career and he'll still be beloved. He doesn't really have the pressure of going to a Final Four (though I think he'll eventually make one).

He's actually a good dude. He just comes off as a dick because he doesn't particularly GAF what people think of him.

No, he actually is a POS. Do some research on him & you'll find a lot of the shite he pulled over the years. He's doesn't give a shite because he knows by going home, he's dodged the bullets in his past & he is relatively safe & secure there. Good coach, certainly.
