That's one more field goal than Tulane has made the past two seasons

This just opened up a whole new world of questions for me.

What if it hits the ground and then bounces up and in? What if a defender catches it and throws it over. What are the rules on what it can hit? What if it bounces off a teammates helmet?

That ref's horrendous reflexes cost the visiting team a point

Seriously - the ball was coming straight at his cranium for like a full second and he didn't even flinch until after it hit him

Way more creative/subtle way to punish an idiot ref than those kids who went high and low on one a few weeks ago. Plus he helped his team with an XP. Nicely done.

Not sure. I'd imagine it's good.

I don't think it would be possible to kick the ball with that type of spin again.

The ball was flat and had topspin. I have no idea how that could happen.

The ref called him a bad name.

Wouldn't that be a live returnable ball... so... that would make this a safety?

What if it bounces off a defenders head or touches a defender first without him having possession?

Potentially, not true.

I think if he's in the endzone and never leaves, it would be a touch back defense ball.

Outside the endzone, safety for sure.

o did the coach tell him to deliberately kick it off the ref's head???????

The ref made a derogatory comment about kickers, so it's OK.

I would assume it counts. If they get a hand on it trying to block and it still goes through, it counts... don't know why it would somehow be different on the way down.
