Who cares how they finish. What matters is how they start.
They will probably go 7-5, but pull in a decent recruiting class and start the 2017 season ranked in the Top 10, Top 15 at worse. And USC will add another Preseason Top 15 ranking trophy to their trophy case, and continue to do battle with Texas and Oklahoma in that department.

The UCLA game will be for a .500 record/bowl eligibility.

What does it matter? In our current system only top 4 matters. Most teams' seasons are over already.
