He probably doesn't have a vote.

which is why having the "Coaches" poll in the BCS is ridiculous.

Showing how the coaches voted didn't stop Saban from putting Ok State at 4.

to be honest though, saban voted stanford at 3. Stanford lost to Oregon where OSU lost to ISU.

Regardless of who we think is #2 or #3... its not like its a huge stretch to say Stanford is #3.

If he would have put them at 10 it would have stunk.

Thats a completely different situation. He wants his team in at all cost. Miles is already in so if the results werent shown do you think he votes for Bama or for Okie State?

I think in most cases coaches pretty much have to stick with conference affiliation solely for PR purposes in a close vote.

I remember Tressel abstained from the 2006 vote and lost his coaches vote as a result. I do think Zook voted Florida #2 over Michigan that year though.

Gary Pinkel said to Okie State before he left the Big 12 for the SEC.

Thats why im curious if you take the PR part out of it by making it a private vote, how would he vote in that situation.

I don't see how any person who calls himself an LSU fan can be happy about Miles screwing over other schools. LSU doesn't need help this year, but they needed it in 2003 and 2007 and they will need it in the future. What's the point of creating enemies among other voters? Why invite retaliation in the future?

Random drawing at the beginning of each year. Each conference gets one vote for every two members.

He would cause Oklahoma State to be screwed over for years to come if he did that. Even Saban voting Oklahoma State #4 is getting a lot of attention. Today, ESPN was running a scroll at the bottom of the screen that said: "Nick Saban votes Oklahoma State #4 on his final ballot."

Not really.

How is it that Pat Hill and Chris Petersen have a vote but Mike Gundy and Chip Kelly don't?
