Thats the thing, everyone (or a lot of people) willingly stole music with napster downloads when CDs were $20 but, now, today, many gladly pay Spotify $10 a month for unlimited streaming. ($5 per month if youre a student btw)

In general, numbers show that people tend to go with the reasonably priced legal option over the free illegal option when the choice is available.

I could do it right now, but I need sunday ticket and a few go to cable channels

plus the random time filler stuff on cable such as murder porn on ID...summer is a brutal time for television and cable is really starting to fill the void

Not remotely true.

Most popular network shows you can watch online legally.

If HBO & ESPN moved to internet subscriptions, I would easily be able to watch anything I wanted all of the time.

HBO starts next year and ESPN will some day soon.

As it is, between NEtflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu (FREE) I turned my cable on twice from the Super Bowl until College Football started.

They have got to figure out ads on streaming for ESPN3 and the like. I watch my sports almost exclusively through legal streaming services and there are either no ads or the same one over and over. Either people don't wanna advertise to streaming or they're trying to charge them too much.
