about 25% of the public are into basketball.

half are into football.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Its only "obvious" to the OP and the other 25% who love basketball.

I find the NBA unwatchable. Just my opinion.

only reason i could hold interest in the NFL this year... Fan Duel.

I can't stand the officiating. Player safety I get but they throw way to many flags.

its a joke really.

I've rooted for the Saints as far as I can remember... started late 80's. I'll never quit no matter how shitty the league gets.

I like the Pels but its not quite the same. I used to like the NBA A LOT more in the when I was younger. Same with baseball.. early 90's Braves were fun to watch.

I feel like I've been robbed as a fan of the NFL.

I think if the Pels can continue to get better and become a playoff team the Blender could see similar crowds to the Grizz, GS and OKC.

I remember how insane it was for playoff games in the cp3 era.

That is basically how it started for the Grizzlies. Crowds were never great when I was growing up, but once they became a constant playoff team things really took off.

The college team was always #1 here, but it has really changed in the last year or 2

Hmm its tough...I hate the media coverage of the NBA but the actual product is very good if you watch more than the Cavs/Lakers/Bulls/Knicks/other ESPN teams. I find the NBA way more enjoyable than college. That said, I'd rather see UGA win a national title than ATL win one, but it's almost painful to watch an unranked college game after watching some NBA.

NFL is also good but I do like college more so I'll never feel the NFL love for good. NFL is more of a way to spend lazy Sundays after going all out on Saturday,

Depends where you go. I'd put places like OKC, GS, and Memphis up against any college atmosphere when it is a big game, especially in the playoffs.

I agree that the NBA is a better product, and I also think CFB is a better product than the NFL.

I think you could shorten the NBA season to 65 games and it would make the product even better.

I have long been a proponent of this. Sloughing off about 20 games would greatly reduce the back to backs and other wacky scheduling, while still giving teams time to gel and weather an injury or two if need be.

And you could do this without touching one of the greatest pieces of sporting theater on the planet in the NBA playoffs.

Laugh all you want, but Oracle, Chesapeake, AT&T Center, and the Grindhouse during big games blow places like Allen Fieldhouse out of the water.

Could you imagine NBA games if you sold the close seats for the $5 students pay for student section tickets?

I've had to bite my tongue when me and my dad sit close to the court because I can get a bit out of hand. The things I said to Chris Paul and Blake Griffin in Game 6 2 years ago should not be repeated.

So many good games tonight and then capped off with this:

Ummmmmm.......

couldn't you ask the same question during football season after a day of good games capped off with a last minute GW drive?

It doesn't seem like you put very much thought or logic into your question.

Both halves ended in total excitement. A TD with 6 sec left and an INT with 20.

I was glued to the TV the whole game

Too many NBA games. I Probably watch 75% of the Pel games. But Saints games I'm more invested emotionally even though I get sick of the bullshite rules. And it's very much turning into a fluke sport. Literally one finger on a Wr back and it's 1st & goal at the 2 to win the game. I also hate with 20 seconds left, one fluke 30 yard pass and you kick a FG to win. But it's still more entertaining overall than the NBA.
