I can roll with 4. Even with a half of a Wade or an equal player And at least one solid contributor he will continue to see the finals. The dude took a very untalented cavs team to the finals; some say he wasn't clutch, I say he played with shitty teammates

nah, plenty cannot stand lebron due to his decision drama and all his trash talking predictions...so far he is not looking too wise on that total count now is he?? he may get a couple but 5? 6? 7? I seriously doubt it.

He'll be lucky to get another one with the Heat after this one.

DWade isn't getting younger any time soon
While Wade is getting older obviously, his play didn't just magically get to this level over the past couple of weeks because of age.

It's becasue of an injured knee.

Just like when the series wasn't over when the Heat were down 2-1 to Indy and 3-2 to Boston, this one certainly isn't over yet either.

at least 2. if the Heat front ofc can be smart with their personnel moves going forward (Mike Miller say hello to the the Amnesty Clause), and maybe luck into some rotation players in the 2nd rd/ as UFAs, shite could get ugly.

meh. Boston played the heat better than anyone. Boston outplayed the Heat from game 2 through 5,and blew a 11 point lead in game 7 on the road.
This Thunder team everyone expected to run any team from the east out the building was just pure unadulterated BS. Miami is winning this series now. I think OKC is done like dinner. Last night was a must win for OKC.

It was silly for some posters to think the series was over before this game was played like a few here did ...but now? I think OKC is done.

This I agree with and stated multiple times.

I said all along if BOsh was healthy I'd put the Heat at a slight advantage over San Antonio, and I'd put them somewhere between 60%-70% to beat OKC.

Wish I could find that exact post, so I can pat myself on the back.

Who knows, SA may have destroyed the heat.I mean it was looking that way for any team that was playing SA even OKC.....until OKC won 4 straight after being down 2-0. But Sa was on a long win streak and had a veteran team so it was understood. OKC is very young and immature.

Makes me feel better about Boston's chances next year. Get another big, keep PP and KG fresh for playoffs, get a decent bench and we could make another run. We came oh so close this year to making our 3rd finals in 5 years.

Depends what they do in the off season. If they do win a title this year, I could see the front office settling and not making a serious move. They are putting a lot of stock in Mario Chalmers and frankly, I don't think he will amount to much. I think they would be better off bringing in Steve Nash and having him run point.

If they are dedicated to winning, the best move would be to deal Wade and bring in better role players for Lebron.

As far as the East goes, MIA is still the front-runner with no moves made in the offseason. I'm not sure if this team, 1 year older, could repeat against the likes of OKC/SA/LAL

As long as he does what he did last night or something like that once or maybe twice a series in the playoffs, that's all he needs to do, IMO.

Not sure how much he'd be "running" the point. I would want the ball in Lebron's hands to facilitate and not Nash, obviously.

At this point, how do you get anything near equal value for Wade that would make that a good deal for Miami?

Miami 1 year older can't compete against San Antonio or the Lakers 1 year older?

I would agree with this, but can he do that? 25 points for a role player is no small task. Without him last night, Miami doesnt win. If he turns into that player, then Miami is almost impossible to beat.

Mainly spit balling with Nash, basically saying they need better role players.

It's not so much getting equal value, but getting players who complement Lebron better. Lebron is carrying to much of the load right now and its mainly bc he has a deteriorating wing man. I think he can be utilized better but we dont see that because he has to do everything for this team.

I have believed all along san antonio would give Miami fits. OKC is a much better matchup for Miami. LAL as they are now won't compete but you have to believe with the way that organization is ran, they are making offseason moves.

Well, SA will be a year older also and is a much older team. Their role players also seem to have been overrated. The Lakers? They've got a lot of problems right now. They aren't making the finals unless they make a big move.

that's a tough question. wade isn't getting any younger, but i'll say 3 maybe 4. as far as him winning one in cleveland, that will never happen. he's going to win one this year, and as much as i hate the fact his first title is going to be against my team (bandwagon i know), he deserves it. i dont understand the hate for lebron (by some people). he decided to go to a team that's willing to do what it takes to win an nba title, and there's nothing wrong with that. he's played lights out this year, he's never in trouble with the law, he never takes shots at other players, ect. he gave cleveland plenty of time, yet they couldn't get it done. so what if he left for a better team. KD will win one in okc, but if some major catastrophe happens, and the team goes downhill in say 5 years, i wouldn't blame him if he left.

People hate him because of The Decision and his performance in last year's Finals. That's a fact.

Oh, and I don't fall in that category. I've been one of the few rooting my heart out for LeBron. And his ability to still be the most dominant player in the NBA considering the massive microscope he plays under every single night makes me respect the guy even more.

An advanced congrats on your first ring, Lebron. You deserve it!
