How many years before a drop-off? He's 32.

He has played more career NBA minutes than Michael Jordan, Magic, and Bird. He's got a mileage on him.

As the best player in the league? Seems like 2 tops, maybe?

He can probably still be elite for another 4 years, tops.

MJ was elite through age 36 I believe... no reason with the rest and conditioning that Lebron couldn't make it at least that far.

However, Kobe had one of his finest seasons at age 34 and then got hurt and was never even close to the same.

Finally, Magic came back to the NBA at age 36 and was a very good point guard that season, being among the league leaders at PG in several statistics when you look at per 100 possesions

This is the first Finals in which he looks tired and drained to me. So I'm going to guess around 2-3.

MJ retired at 34 after the 2nd 3 peat.

Yea, he was still really, really good at 34. That was his final really good season I think.

After a 4 year layoff, he wasn't nearly himself but yea, he was really good at 36.

LeBron James averaged 26.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.7 assists during the regular season.

This postseason, he is averaging 32.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 7.5 assists.

You think LeBron James, playing at an elite level, is over...?

I'm going to say 5.

He's catered his game as he aged and allowed Kyrie/Love to take over more of the scoring role as he plays facilitator.

He just came off close to a 26/9/9 REGULAR season (74 games). He's going to be elite in different ways than his norm.

1, maybe 2. This sweep will damage him mentally, especially knowing that the same GSW team will be right back there next year and there is no realistic path to creating a team that can stop them.

So you're saying next year is the final year he'll be, say, a top 10 player?

All while averaging a triple double. Your view is probably clouded.
