How is the NFL hiding the audio from the Detroit Lions OL check in debacle?

There are so many cameras with HD audio recording every second of those games, there has got to be some sort of audio that would either implicate or vindicate those referees.

I know this topic has been discussed ad nauseam, but this is the one thing that stood out to me

Where is the audio from number 68 talking to the referee?

Because the female ref was the one who fricked up.

The NFL isn’t a sport, it’s a TV show run by completely corrupt people.

Where's the audio of the refs calling tripping on the cowturds player instead of the lions guy? The game is over if they get the right call there and I hate the fricking cowboys. Why is this not being discussed.

Maybe #68 never said a word and only made a half-hearted "jersey swiping" motion "exactly like his coach told him to do" which the ref never saw because his view was blocked by the OTHER O Lineman who inexplicably needed to wander over there to try to make it hard to tell who was trying to declare themselves eligible???

Either the players are lying (both #68 who says he reported and #70 who said “I never said a fricking word”), or the ref is lying, there is no in between. The audio would tell the truth.

And that’s in addition to Dan Campbell saying he went over this exact play with the refs pregame.

With the way the NFL handles ref controversies and criticism, not releasing it probably means the ref messed it up.

It’s a “he said, she said” situation right now until we get official audio from the NFL.

The lineman (#68) that caught the 2 pt conversion was already in the game. He and Sewell (#58) walked over to talk to the Referee, and the extra lineman that checked in (#70) jogged by the group.

Both 68 and 58 talked to the ref, #70 that actually checked in never said anything.

Ref claimed #70 checked in as an eligible receiver. He entered the game as an extra lineman, but he didn’t check in as an eligible receiver.

Some dude had the Spanish language broadcast audio and you can hear the ref in the background say #70 is reporting eligible. Now it was also on twitter so it could be fake.

Except that all the former player talking heads were quick last night to point out that you don't actually have to say a word to the ref. Long standing precedent apparently allows you to make a "two handed swiping motion" down the front of your jersey to indicate that you want to be ruled an eligible receiver. IDK if 70 was doing anything suspicious as he charged towards the ref? Why the hell was he running at the ref instead of towards the huddle? I did see 68 make a half-hearted swipe with his right hand as the ref turned away and he was blocked by Sewell (what the hell was he doing over there?) I don't know what 68 said and I certainly don't know what the ref heard, but the ref told the D and the stadium 70 was eligible??

Detroit tried to get cute and played themselves.

Not true. It wasn't the female ref they checked in with.

It really makes no difference. They fricked it up. The win goes to the cowboys. That’s not changing no matter what.
