Not just this year, but last year too. Their offense looks worse then lsu's last year. Cant block, can't run, can't throw?

Their defense is full of holes. They have a monster operating/recruiting/coaching budget.

How are they this bad?

I mean it's freaking Texas

Bad QB play. Their D is solid though.

QB problems. Went from having what 2 QBs in 7 years to have a problem at the position. Mack would still be a severe underachiever if not for Vince and some stupidity from USC.

They got Vince who we all know was highly recruited and then the found a diamond in the rough with Colt.

I can understand resting on you're laurels, but he could have any assistants he wants.

It's as if miles and Mack switched places

With the talent they have been getting, all they should need is a game manager type. frick, they are loaded! Their play calling is horrible. Mike Davis shouldve stuck to lsu.

What is browns expertise, offense or defense?

Texas and Florida are basically mirror images of each other right now - all-time great college qb that was carrying the offense graduated, highly hyped heir apparent QB that ended up being a major bust, shitty o-line, no running game, major coaching changes, lots of "5-star" guys that aren't living up to the hype or have inflated egos.

But Mack Brown will still be an awful coach.

I think Mack must recruit from the Rivals to 150 lists and never actually watch the "talent" or something. Like UF, they are loaded with top recruits, but for some reason it just isn't working out for them.

IDK about Texas, but Florida has had some serious attrition issues.

Their offense is further proof that Harsin was only good because of Moore and weak competition.

Could say the same for A&M, but Texas has top recruiting classes every freaking year. They are the suckiest team in the NCAA, compared to talent.

Under Mack Brown, Texas is 139 - 38 in 14 years.

With Vince Young and Colt McCoy they are 79 - 12 with two Big 12 campionships in 7 years.

Without Young and McCoy they are 60 - 26 with 0 conference cahmpionships in 7 years.
