The pro shop, the guy running it, the course condition, the snack bar, the range, everything .....complete overhaul. You're an angry guy, but you sound reasonable. That's how I know you don't work there.
I think we're on the same page. I like your style. I'm posting from the sofa as well.

I'm not an angry guy. I promise you. If you really knew me, you would know im not. This is fun. The maintenance crew can only do so much so when people say like the did earlier that they are lazy and not doing anything to fix the problem, that's where I was drawing the line on bashing. When the money isn't right and above says we can't, then its not the crews fault. If its considered a goat ranch, go play somewhere better then and come back when its better or don't come back at all.

No, I have ties with coppermill but its more than just coppermill. I'm just someone that cares about golf in general, golf in baton rouge since i grew up here and been around local golf like Sherwood and Coppermill . There is alot going on with all the hard workers at and outside Coppermill that aren't happy about how it is but are doing what they can to keep another course from going down.

good to see they are trying to do things.... they had the rib cook off on saturday and was supposed to have a par 3 challenge on friday afternoon.
Only thing that would kinda concern me is that ol boy is literally just trying to put meat in the seats so to speak. Not really worrying about anything other than putting golfers on the course.... maybe thats good? maybe thats bad... but, my best friend lives out there and they aren't all that happy. I know other people there as well. They know they are trying to move forward, but seems to be a lot of excuses. Not only do they have to pay $1500 in HOAs now due to them buying it, but they also have to pay a membership.
Then thats not even talking about the clusterfrick that is the driving range and birdie balls. How can you not have a plan in place for that. I know the guy who owns it wanted 1mil for it, but all they keep saying is that they don't need one.
Everyone only uses it for loosening up so they don't really need a range.
Personally, i think they are trying to do good things and the place was a train wreck from the people who owned it prior.... Ol boy says they have new equipment and are getting better shite and that to give them time. Who knows....
I'm there a lot due to my buddy living there. Hopefully there will be some progress in the coming weeks.
