it's amazing how an average Big 10 QB in his first year can be more impressive than one of the greatest SEC players of all time.

I devour everything NFL. You are right that there are a few bashers, but there are also a ton of supporters.

everything in the NFL is about putting the ball in the right spot at the right time

Tebow cant throw the ball for shite and when he does he doesnt know where it is going

Bill Walsh said the single most important quality a NFL QB has to have is accuracy. Everything else is secondary.

What gives with Tebow?

His college system did a piss poor job of preparing him for the NFL, since he was basically a glorified fullback that needed to throw downfield sometimes. In the NFL he's playing against big boys to where he can't just run behind the guard every play and actually has to rely on his arm, which is not his game. Tebow isn't starting NFL QB caliber and I don't know why anyone who watched his 4 years of college thought he would be.

JR will always be a bigger bust then tbow, due not only to draft position but to the fact that JR is a lazy shite bag with no heart. I have nothing but admiration for tebow.

Why aren't people laying the wood to Tebow for being a bust?

b/c everyone but a few retards in the Denver organization knew Tebow was a 3rd or 4th rounder at best. Nobody expects him to live up to his 1st round pick.

Probably because Josh McDaniels was the only person on planet Earth who thought Tebow should be a first round pick in the first place.

I don't see how Tebow has any more "heart" or all those other over blown intangibles than Newton, JR,Couch, White, Gabbert, and all the other high profile QBs to come out in a couple of years.

I think people just confuse his playing style/their offense which called upon him to be a runner, with his intangibles.

Just because he yells and screams, gives shitty rah rah speechs, and saves heathens from eternal damnation doesn't mean he is some "elite" QB.

Nothing against the kid, hes a great kid and all, but he is getting a huge break because of his off the field persona. I personally don't care about that. ITs all about your on the field persona to me.

I personally blame Urban Meyer for his throwing motion-- if he loved Tebow as much as he did, and knew he had a future in the NFL, you'd think he would have changed that throwing motion. You think he would have changed the offense for Brantley figuring he had a pocket passer and not a slash QB.

Nope, Urban only cares about winning. And he quits when the going gets rough

Feel bad for all the idiots that bought Broncos Tebow jerseys. He's going to be out of there in no time.

""He can't play. He can't throw," Esiason said at a CBS press event in New York on Tuesday. "I'm not here to insult him. The reality is he was a great college football player, maybe the greatest college football player of his time. But he's not an NFL quarterback right now. Just because he's God-fearing, and a great person off the field, and was a winner with the team that had the best athletes in college football, doesn't mean his game is going to translate to the NFL."

Tebow's throwing mechanics are so poor, Esiason says, he wouldn't be surprised if the Broncos cut him loose. "What (former Broncos coach) Josh McDaniel saw in him God only knows. Maybe God does know — because the rest of us don't," Esiason said."

I am waiting for all the Tebow fan boys to start hating on Boomer the way they do Hodge.

I'm starting to think that some of you honestly believe that Tebow is the only one out there that is trying to make a roster.

Sick of hearing how much heart he has, how he's such a good worker, great motor, etc. Guess what? That doesn't add up to a NFL QB. Stop it with the ESPN excuses.

Time for Timmy to man up and realize that if he wants a job in the NFL, he needs to change positions. If not, I'm sure he'll be the worlds most popular minister - and there are plenty of seminaries out there that would love to accept him.

I'm not bashing the guy - he seems like a straight up legit fella. Just saying as a sports fan that has watched him play for the last six years, the dream of being Joe Montana is over. Time to look for a different way to be in the NFL or go the path of Danny Wuerffel.

Am I the only one that feels that all this doubting of Tebow and giving up on him is setting up to be epic when he makes all these dumbasses eat crow. I mean anybody that doesn't think Tebow is gonna be successful just hasn't been paying attention. He feeds of his critics and he has a bunch of food. I can't wait till he starts whipping peoples arse!

what do u think is gonna lead to this success?

his inaccurate arm, slow throwing motion? you think he is a great improviser even tho he rarely looked past his first receiver in college and last year in limited action? you think he is gonna be able to pick up 3rd and 3 situations running up the middle like he did in college?

i dont understand how people think he can succeed based off his "Tebowness" when i've never seen any other QBs succeed in the NFL without the talent to go with the heart

they will say boomer is just part of the conspiracy. Apparently everyone in the NFL is conspiring against Tebow, because we all know NFL coaches/GMs aren't all trying their hardest to keep their jobs
