How does Matt Kemp only have six walks on the season?

Kemp has a .260/.270/.480 line so far this year. I don't think I've ever seen a player's batting average so close to their OBP this late in the season who wasn't a pitcher. Kemp has never been a huge on-base guy but he's never been this undisciplined at the plate. He's usually been a 40-50 walk player throughout his career. Does anybody know what's been going on with him to cause him to be so impatient at the plate?
