How do you ignore losing to an unranked team at home?

That is what the playoff committee will do if Ohio state gets in.

Ohio St disqualified itself from the playoffs with that ugly loss. If the committee puts them in then the new system is a sham as far as I'm concerned.

Baylor and TCU have the same record. Comparing the losses - TCU lost to a team that finished the season in the Top 10. Baylor lost to a team that did not. Baylor' loss is worse.

Playoff should include Alabama, Oregon, Florida State, and TCU.

Easy. If only everyone would see things my way.

By not ignoring the other factors involved in that loss?

Its also a sham that the team you are saying deserves it more has played 1 less game. You are being ignorant.

This is what's stupid. That Top 10 team that TCU lost to was Baylor.

Head to head should carry more weight than "quality losses".

But neither are getting in. Bama. Oregon. FSU. tOSU

No sympathy here.

Bama in 2011 played one less game than LSU, finished third in the SEC, and got a rematch despite only beating three ranked teams all year.

TCU and Baylor both have better arguements for #4 than OSU.

So had they played that one more game then maybe they would lose to West Virgina too?

They will slide them in, and Bama will roll them, just like every single bowl season or lucky chance at winning it all OSU will fail.

Finebaum is blowing them bc he knows it's a cakewalk to the title game for Bama.

Injuries.......OSU 2nd string qb was making his first start against a P5 team in their loss.

1 bad loss in game 1 and dominating a pretty good Wisky team in your CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME trumps either Big 12 teams whom do not play a conference championship game.

ThIs will put in conference champs from SEC, Big 10, Pac 12, and ACC.

Is what we wanted it be like.

Big 12 needs to get off their high and mighty horse and get a championship game.

Reread that one.

I assume you mean VT not WVU

Either way they should be a conference championship game. OSU would have won the B1G outright this year but still has to play an extra game against a high ranked team.

Baylor screwed itself out of the playoff for being too good?

I would put Ohio State in. They lost one game to VT which finished 6-6 but they did win their conference championship game and had to prepare for it on a week's notice unlike TCU which knew who they would play all year.

They should get more credit for the Michigan State win. MSU only other loss was to Oregon at Eugene.

You're an Alabama fan and you are arguing it should be a conference champion who gets in?

I love it

WVU still had Trickett when this happened, completely different team after he went down.

Collin coward show is pumping ohio state for the 4 spot based on conference strength.

The big 12 has two team that could argue for a spot in the top 4, what does the big 10 have!

Baylor should be in.

Their 3rd string qb had no problem with that exact same scenario yesterday. Loss is a loss
