How could anyone like Floyd Mayweather?

He flaunts his wealth like no one I've ever seen
Extraordinarily cocky
Convicted woman beater (which he still denies ever doing)
Dodges fights
Has repeatedly disrespected the legends of the sport, claiming to be much better than Ali
Rude and disrespectful to reporters
Can't read or speak above a 2nd grade level
Runs around the ring like a weasel
What is there to like about this guy?

I don't have a problem with the trash talking if you can back it up, and his record reflects that he has.

He's an unlikable figure but his shtick obviously worked for him. His fights, for the most part, are boring yet he has 4 of the 10 biggest PPV #s in the history of the sport during a time when the sport is at an all time low in popularity.

He hasn't had a legit KO in almost 20 years. He may wear McGregor out for a TKO but I don't think he'll be able to flatten him out.

I like the fact that Floyd is his own boss. He runs his own promotional company and doesn't have to answer to anybody. Pretty much every other athlete has a boss who tells them what to do whether it's a team owner or an apparel company like Nike or corporate sponsors. Mayweather is actually one of the few athletes who doesn't have to be phony or put on an act due to the financial freedom he has.
