it is a team record

the most interesting part of the schedule was the 7 games....that COULD be the season

6 of the last 7 games are against the likes of the jazz, suns, mavericks (twice), rockets and spurs.....how those games go could go a long way in determining how their post season plays out

They won't even win the division.

Spurs are old. Hornets win it.

Unless you think a team with a broken big man, a scorer who chokes in big games, a point guard who can't distribute the ball, and a divisive lunatic on the wing will win this division...

Anyone notice that the Hornets play Oklahoma on Nov 21 and then play Oklahoma again the next day on Nov 22. One at each others home floor.

Im not a huge follower of the NBA but is it often where teams play back to back games against the same team when its not in the playoffs?

this is awesome for the team, maybe more people will start going to the games too, i live in baton rouge and i went to about 10 or so last year, its kinda sad how the city doesnt/cant support the team as much as they should

Good and Bad. It's good because it gets them more exposure, but bad because now they will be getting other teams' best effort, guys don't want to get shown up on national tv. If nobody's watching, they don't care as much. No way they win as many games as they did last year, no way.

You are right, I did. And I will say it again this year. Houston/San Antonio are the teams to beat in the southwest.

I'll give you that maybe they are a team to beat this year with Yao, Artest, and McGrady, but when were they the team to beat in the Southwest last year? Going into last season, everyone was probably thinking

1. San Antonio
2. Dallas
3. Houston
4. New Orleans
5. Memphis

This is anyone's division and the only team I am worried about is Houston, but it's pretty much a given they all get hurt and implode which is a great thing for Hornets fans. The implode part that is.

It was implied that you said the Hornets couldn't win the division last year. Then in your post in which you said San Antonio/Houston are still the teams to beat, I assumed you meant they were the teams to beat before last year also.
