Hornets: Can they pull a Mo Williams....

Can the Hornets pull a Mo Williams type of deal this offseason ?
With MoPete, Songaila, Peja all contracts expiring next offseason and a young talented bargaining Chip in DC...can they pull a deal off
Mo Williams was a 25 yr old with 5 yrs 45 million left on his contract who had been avg 18 and 6 the past two years. He was traded for expirings in a 3 team deal
or do the Hornets get scared this offseason because of a similar type of deal they did to get Emeka....and just let the contracts expire ?

why would they want mo williams? they have two PGs, one of whom is much better than Mo, one who looks like he probably will be better (and is cheaper). I wish they could've made a run at ty thomas.

I think getting the Justin Gaurini lookin queer from the cavs would help some. But we need a true center more than anything.

I meant it as Cleveland trading for Mo Williams. So who can the hornets trade for ( a mo Williams type of player). Like an iguodola or gay or something

After seeing Rudy Gay in person Wednesday night, I can safely say that I've been completely unimpressed both times I've seen him.
He bitches twice as much as David West and had literally no success in creating either game.
All he does (from what I've seen in person) is drive to the lane out of control and bitch at the ref when he doesn't get the call.
I never see the Grizz on TV so I don't know if my pereption of him is skewed but I think he is the most overrated player I've ever really paid attention to. He can't carry Brandon Roy's jock from the 2 games I saw.

From what I've seen of him, Rudy Gay is indeed not all that good. I'd rather have Mayo, who knows his role as a defender and three point shooter, than Rudy Gay. Of course we need a 3 so Mayo doesn't help us.
