Clayton Kershaw did that in a game once.

Takes a lot of luck to do that too, unless nobody touches a ball at all.

They now have mercy rules in high school sports?
I thought that junk was just for Youth sports.
(we once were down 45-7 at halftime in football; nobody stopped the game to go eat orange slices.)

Have had it for decades. Baseball is ten runs after five. Football, while no mercy, is a running clock second half with a 35+ point lead. Basketball, well, you could just hold the ball.

I didn't know that was a rule. I just thought coaches informally agreed to it sometimes.

I struck out 14 in 6 inning game. The opposing pitcher Mike Williams (Arkansas WR 1995-1999) struck out 15. We won 2-1
