Is he real good? Those are big stats. What's his name? Does he play both ways?

St. John of Plaquemine ( 1-A ) did a great job last night against Pope John Paul ( 2-A ). The whole 1st. half was SJH. They started the 3rd. quarter a little sloppy, and put it away in the 4th. The season is going to get a little tougher with U-High next week in Plaq. Then away to Dutchtown. Good Job Eagles

Get ready for a messed up field.

Lloyd G's. Field and Rain does not go together..

Oh yeah, and the lockerooms are hot as hell. Bring some Box fans.

U-High better be ready. St. John took it easy on them and their highly tauted QB last year. They bowed up big time against St. Mikes last week. Can't wait until they tee it off next Friday.

To Westgates defense, its New Iberia Senior Highs stadium. Unfortunately, with the exception of STM, Lafayette area school football stadiums/facilities are lacking compared to lake charles and other areas around the state.

Thanks.

Westgate opended in '99. They have only a practice field at the school.

Llody G. Porter stadium is behind the old NISH school. NISH and Westgate share this field every year. (idk why becuase NISH has 2 Practice fields.)

That stadium has been there since like the 40's.

I really like Barbe's and STM's stadium. Has to be one the best in the state.

p.s. idk about WM or Dest.

Well...Our Defense is working with players who anywhere else would not see a down at a defensive position. But Baker pulls us aside everyday and makes sure we can at least compete with the offense. Baker, Briggs, McLin all know what they are doing, and are breaking barriers as they go along. Last Saturday, Baker was here from 7am to 5pm making blitzes to stop Myers, and ended up cussing a hurricane when he heard myers wasnt playing.

But as far as skill goes..Bell and Switz are the obvious big time guys, but our #3 punch, Hughes, is out for the season with a torn ACL. All got letters of intent/scholarships from D1 schools. But with Josh gone, Chas Kelly is getting some PT at FB to relieve Causey (who will go on ascholarship to a Big 6 school) and Higgenbotham from playing both ways. Tyler McGrew is crazy fast, like 4.1 fast. Prescott is a converted TE who hasn't dropped a single pass in 13 games. And our O-line is anchored by Buck Johnson, who weighs in at about 275, and will also more than likely go to a D1 school.

sorry for the rant. were just trying to earn respect (and kick the ever living shite out of Zachary.)

BUMP

We should probably try to keep any and all scores in here, lest the feathered one be perturbed.
