And that dude has never lifted weights. All from pushups, sittups, a good diet, lots of running and superhuman genetics. Unbelieveable. I have no doubt that dude could still play football. If Brett Favre's old busted arse can get out there and run around there is not a doubt in my mind that Herschel Walker could as well.

And as a freshman in college could do 22 one-armed pull-ups with EACH ARM!!!!

Yep. That guy used to do like 2000 pushups a day and has a crazy intense regimented diet. It was estimated once that he had 1% bodyfat which is thought to be impossible. That guy truly is a genetic freak.

I hadn't heard that but I wouldn't be surprised. When he got to UGA he was already stronger than most of the guys on the team so he didn't lift weights with the rest of the team. They just kind of let him do his own thing. Just look at the guy. Can't say I blame them.

Herschel Walker was on the Howard Stern show a few weeks ago and was talking about all of this stuff. He came off as a really down to earth guy. Very Christian guy. He also admitted that the woman he is with now after getting a divorce several years ago is only the second woman he has ever slept with...the first was his wife.

They had an article in SI in 1980 about him and he told them how he worked out.

Howard did a surprisingly good interview with him. Seems like a great guy and even an intellectual. I'm pretty sure Herchel said he could suit up today if he wanted.

props for the guy being 47 and looking like that. But did you see his standup (which was supposed to be his strength)? The short choppy karate kid steps were tripping me out.

If it weren't for Bo Jackson. Herschel would probably be my favorite cfb player ever.

Met him several years ago and he seemed like a very nice guy. I believe he is the best college running back, if not player, ever.

One of my old football coaches in grade school played against him with a bunch of people at a park once. Said he has never been hit that hard in his life. He was honored to be trucked by Walker(and my coach was a big guy).
