I don't understand why covering his cell in soap would strategically help him to carry through with the suicide.
So like A) why have gay sex and B) what's this mysterious "courage" that soap gives off that I'm unaware of.

Gay sex I can't explain, not my thing.
I'm curious though of his suicide because supposedly this prison was "suicide proof". I get if there is a will there is a way and hanging doesn't mean that he couldn't have leaned over but how did he get the blanket ripped? How does someone have a thick enough blanket to hold someone 6'1" 200+ lbs?
How did he know this loophole in the law to make the case revert from suicide if his representation is stunned that he killed himself? There are far more questions but those are the big ones to me

Where the hell did you hear this? That prison had 24 suicides in it since 2010 and already 2 this year.
