I seem to remember Scotty Pippen complaining about not getting enough credit for the teams success and he had a back lash from Jordan fans. I also did not care for Dennis Rodman.

I love watching Lebron play. He is great and one of the best talents the league has ever seen. The decision put a sour taste in my mouth. He also rustled my jimmies when he and D-Wade mocked Dirk in the finals about being sick. Dirk owned those bitches in that series.

I thought about Barkley, but having zero rings makes the comparison seem silly.

Is Dwight Howard still considered to be a superstar?

Talk about someone who pissed away all kinds of goodwill through being an indecisive douche.

LBJ will never get the respect he deserves from his peers and older players because of his unwillingness to build a team around him and stay with one franchise. Hopping around wherever the talent goes makes him seem like a pompous pos to many bball fans.
Shift that line, do whatever you gotta do to shift that lien and hate on Lebron, that's the status quo.

I thought we wanted athletes who weren't just there for a paycheck and made winning the top priority, no? If winning titles is the top priority, why are you advocating he take the toughest route possible to win these titles? You do realize just how flawed your logic is, right?

I think people are forgetting that MJ had just as many haters when he was playing. Bron will be revered the minute he retires.

He's advocating for players to spend their entire career with whichever team drafts them, no matter much (or little) talent the execs put around them. Which is hilariously stupid.

No Kidding.

Athletes should care and want to win titles...but they should make it as tough as possible for themselves to win these titles. Wait, what?

I'm pretty sure most people like LeBron. Just a lot of people hate the Heat.

Like me.
But how do you like the Nets now and the Celtics a few years ago? Those are easily hateable teams.

What an asinine statement. He IS the talent. He already got to the Finals by himself pretty much.

He gets plenty of respect from his peers. Many may not like him but they respect him, or at least they should.

He apparently likes teams that play a certain style.

its funny how the most terrible thing he has done is the decision and people hate him because of that he has never been arrested never been connected to drugs never been connected to gangs never been investigated for rape never murdered anyone never had a dui never been in a fight even seems like a great role model to me.. but yet he is hated by many while other trash is out there getting arrested, tied to gangs, failing drug test, and raping women are celebrated... funny world we live in.

Christ, dude. People don't seriously hate him as a person or think he's a shitty dude. People just want to see him lose, kind of like how people hate the Yankees or the Red Sox.

Not wrong with a healthy "frick Lebron" whenever he is destroying everyone.

Agreed. The idea that an opposing fan must like any player is ridiculous.

Maybe it's Bill Simmons...cause the Nets don't strike me as a fun team to watch.

Yep. Clean as a whistle off the court. Also came into the league with more hype and pressure than any other player before him and straight up delivered. Guy won me over game 5 vs the pistons scoring the final 29 points of the cavs last 30 to win the game. Incredible to watch live. Since then Ive enjoyed watching the greatest player of all time scratch and claw his way to building the legacy. Mediocrity hates greatness.
