Has the Bill Simmons podcast gotten worse?

Ever since he let House get his own podcast it's sucked. I'm not sure if it's also because he's putting more effort into the TV show. Yesterdays podcast was brutal. Bill was totally unprepared to talk about football. He still thinks Lovie Smith is in Tampa.

I used to be the biggest Simmons fan out there, but he needs to step back the amount of content he personally puts out there. His work is obviously suffering.

It was really bad. There's better stuff out there now I usually only listen to his podcasts at the end of the day if it all once I'm done with all of my usual listens.

He dropped the annual betting podcast yesterday. I have yet to listen to it, the desire isn't there anymore. How has the HBO show been?

I'm still giving him the benefit of the doubt because I liked Grantland so much and Simmons is proven to be good. I gotta call it how I see it though and so far the whole Ringer venture in it's whole is just not good yet.

The Ringer won't be good unless it's completely revamped. There's nothing good about it right now

I'm hoping the podcast picks up now that football season is here. The last months worth of pods have been really poor. It looks like he only does one a week now instead of 2-3 like he used to do.

the new podcast with Cousin Sal and Joe House about nfl lines this year is pretty good.
