That was last year his long catch this season is 15 and like cooks his ypc is about 9. He's a possession receiver also. Last year was a fluke. Morgan can be the deep great but hasn't developed Into that guy yet.

He's barely got any PT this season due to an injury during the offeseason.

If you think cooks is just a possession WR,you haven't done much research.

9 yards per catch is the definition of a Possession receiver. Just because he has an elite 40 time doesnt make him a big play kinda guy. He's a move the chains guy. Like an Edelman welker. Etc.

They line him up everywhere in a percy harvin fashion.

You don't think with his speed/elusiveness he won't be anymore than a "possession" WR?

He's more Edelman than he is Harvin. Nothing wrong with that Edelman may lead the league in cartches this year.

Lmao right prove to me that cooks is more than a possession wr based on what we've seen. 9 yard per catch ain't a big play wr.

3 games into a career and a guy with 4.3 speed is already nothing more than a possession receiver.

lol

This board cracks me up on the regular.

How many times has he been even targeted on deep balls much less caught one.

He's been targeted 15+ times within 6-7 yards of the line of scrimmage. He ain't making plays downfield. When he does I'll reconsider my stance.

We're just 3 games into his career, correct?

Yea. Which is why I'm surprised I've gotten so much opposition. You've got to earn recognition in this league. Catching a bunch of 10 yd dumpoffs and one 30 yarder doesn't shed cooks of his slot/possession wr tag that he had coming out or college.

Stills isn't a deep threat come on bro

lol ok bro

As for Cooks, give it time. He's a rookie WR that has competed in 3 games. You can't ignore 4.3 speed.

After Brees puts up 450 yards and 4 tds against the cowboys next week, his stats will be back on pace.

Fluke. Look at Riley cooper he's on the list and he's a garbage WR. nobody is going out of their way to cover Riley cooper.

Combine speed and speed on the field aren't the same thing. Look at cooks for example a knock on him coming out was that he couldn't get separation to take the top off of the defense.

I don't know how we're arguing about something that already been proven.
