What was Harbaugh trying to accomplish by going for 2 in the 3rd Quarter?

There was about 15:30 left in the game. That's when you try and make it a 3pt game.

I would never go for 2, until at earliest mid 4th quarter.

That wasn't nearly as bad as not calling TO when FSU was in FG territory

It's never the wrong time to go for two statistically.

Harbaugh's strategy is getting paid the most money to not beat his rival ever and collapse in big games

Khaki boy is not a good coach

What is up with all of the Harbaugh cock throating here? That's a terrible coaching move no matter how you slice it.

It's a weird obsession indeed.

You score at touchdown, to tie the game, with a minute to go. Your telling me its wrong to kick the extra point?

No, it was the third quarter and it was a really bad call. Cost them the game. Though FSU would have likely won in OT. You snould only go for two in the 4th.

Not calling timeouts on FSU's last drive was really poor strategy as well.

I usually agree with that philosophy, but there was less than a minute left in the 3rd. I got no problem with him making that decision. Not calling timeouts was questionable.

No it didn't they made the 2pt conversion on their last TD. They wouldn't have gone for 2 on the last one if they hadn't failed on the earlier conversion
