Had the cavs lost, would JRs 2nd half idiocy have been an all time chokejob?

I remember being a young child and watching nick Anderson choke 4 FTs, at home, 20 years ago to this month. To this day, I had seen a bigger finals chokejob than his blunder but I do believe JRs dumb play topped that.

Have we ever seen more dumb basketball, out of a key rotation guy, In a pivotal finals game, than we saw tonight?

He was terrible. I was glad when he fouled out.

Harden for the thunder was pretty bad against Miami in one of the finals games

It's JR Smith. He's bound to screw something up.

However, I'd bet he goes off and saves CLE before this series is done.

It would have received some attention and so would LeBron's 4-22 second half shot chart.

What were they again? Serious question. Drawing a blank. All I can remember is that boneheaded three point play foul.

8/26 shooting through 2 games

2 bone headed fouls down the stretch. 1 on Barnes wide open dunk and one on curry in the backcourt after a rebound

Speights' missed dunk was the difference. If you want to talk about choke jobs, that was a pretty big moment.

Seems like a similar situation to Ron Artest/MWP on the Lakers in 2010.

That is J.R. being J.R. If you want the unstoppable offense we saw for a few of the Hawks games you have to also take the absolutely asinine decisions he is capable of. I mean this is the guy who was hungover every game from clubbing with Rihanna a few years ago with the Knicks.

Probably not. Cavs turned to run out the clock mode when they had a 10 point lead late. Stopped running an offense. Would probably have just done that stupid conservatism later had their lead been 2 points less.

They didn't run a motion offense nearly the entire game.

Iso LeBron, and pick and roll off the Iso with curry's player

LeBron didn't even have a great shooting night and they still won. I think the Cavs have a great shot at this if they can keep up the ball pressure and chasing the shooters so effectively.

JR Smith is a borderline lunatic. That type of loose wire cannot be accused of choking.
