gronk is the life of the party fun guy who understands his intellectual limits and this allows him to live it up

sherman is the shite talker who tries to make points he's not capable of sometimes, which angers people on multiple levels

i don't dislike either, fwiw

I don't get the analogy.

Sherman's an a-hole, but I don't personally think he's a thug.

Not true, the "living in the now" belief is only used to convey "live life to the fullest because you never know when it ends" or "live in the moment".

But it's not applicable in most other aspects of life. If automobile engineers apply this philosophy to their work, we would have shitty cars. What about a brain surgeon's approach to an operation? He should just go in there and wing it? Same with deciding to have a baby. No need to plan for its education, feeding it, its health. Let's worry about it when troubles come up.

Gronk is a football player. Why people look up to him is because he's a winner on the field and he likes to have fun. It's fun to watch him. But I wouldn't take life lessons from him like I wouldn't take football lessons from a scientist.

Do you have any evidence on the points he's not capable of making? He sounds pretty logical and clear to me.

here is an easy one and probably the most recent:

LINK

quote:

"I don't think they should be obligated any more than (Goodell) is obligated to speak to the media," Sherman said. "I think that if players are going to be obligated to speak to the media then every one of the NFL personnel should be obligated to speak to the media weekly, and that's not the case."

these rules are collectively bargained by the NFL and the NFLPA. if he doesn't like it, he should take it up with his union rep and change the next CBA

That is a very simplistic view of life. I've learned a ton of things from all different people in the social realm.

Rob Gronkowski and Dan Blizerian need to do a movie together.

I am thinking a buddy cop movie. Both play up their personalities.

with TONS of hot chicks.

Some people may tell you it's passing out/memory loss as a result of alcohol; they're only half right. For it to be a true brownout you also wake up with pantaloons filled with poop.

Blizerian is pretty douchy. He's like the dude version of all these chicks that post their asses on insta and he kicks chicks in the face.

Gronk is legit dude who seems like he'd be badass to party with. Blizerian seems like the dude who is way too sober and cares too much about looking cool. That article on ESPN where he wore THE SAME suit for his entire rookie season is hilarious. Said he would just throw it on the floor, put it back on and rinse and repeat for team travel and press conferences.

I'd much rather see a Patrick Kane and Gronkowski movie. Showtime and Gronk. You could call it "GroKane".
