assuming the coaches are not legally or morally obligated to turn 'em in to the law (i'm sure many will love that statement), then it probably is repeatedly breaking important team rules; the kinda rule that must be enforced to have a "team". ya, missing meetings, late to practice, etc. could be other things as well, of course.

Dollars to doughnuts it is failed drug tests. Probably quite a few of them.
The mentality of alot of CFB is that they cannot smoke regular tobacco because it affects their stamina, and they cannot drink very often because it too affects their play. They turn to weed or synthetic weed and fail drug test like it is going out of style. I think most people would be surprised to hear how many of these things happen. Apparently enough was enough.

What was this guys star rating out of HS? Where was he ranked Nationally by the recruiting services? How am I supposed to know if this is a big deal without that info?
