Greg McElroy is an awful commentator

Barely tolerable during the Miami vs. West Virginia game earlier.
Also, extremely biased.

He's great behind the desk, IMO.
Come bowl season, there's so many games that they are forced to take guys from their normal desk roles and put them in the booth (Galloway, Desmond Howard, Mike Golic, etc.).
If it means we get to watch more football, then I'm cool with it.

I didn't like him until this season, but I think he's really good now. He's not nearly as stiff and can even be funny when he's with someone he has good chemistry with.

Lol... Greg McElroy is about as unbiased a color commentator as there is. He also covers many different programs on College sports nation, seems to be objective.

GMAC is legit. He can break down tape better than most of the commentators on air.

Greg is one of the better color guys at ESPN. Also after hearing today's Pinstripe Bowl, I'd love to see Golic return to the booth. He and his son were great

His delivery is a little dorky, but he cares a lot about his job and is working on it. He may need to stick to the studio, but he's not that bad. Ignore how he sounds and listen to what he says. He is likely smarter than you about most things, and especially football.

I can't stand his voice. It's like he tries to hard to sound like an announcer. It's obnoxious and ruins otherwise decent analysis. He's basically the anti-Verne.
