I simply cannot recall and I can't find it anywhere. Cox put him into close and he went 3 up and 3 down. It was a huge game

Yeah n his only 4 relief appearances came in his first 2 seasons

Game 5 of the 98 NLCS against the Padres. This may have been the game when the Braves made a huge comeback.

Eta: I must be losing my mind as I get older... Went back and looked at the box scores for that series and there were no huge Braves comebacks... granted, back then, one run deficits felt insurmountable for ATL in October

I'd almost say he's thinking of Smoltz, but he was a closer for 4 years. 154 saves.

No 98 was a save but it wasn't three up three down. He walked one still got the only save in his career. Damn shame Bobby was our manager in the 90's.

Dude could frick up a bullpen with the best of em.
