Announcer said "this is good practice at this distance" or something. Which leads me to believe he didn't break his putter. Either way, that's weird as hell.

I thought you were allowed to replace a club with an identical club if it broke mid round.

Probably because he didn't make anything with it, now he's making everything with his wedge.
Eta: in a tournament several years ago I broke my putter on the 9th hole after 4 three putts to shoot +2, used my wedge on the back and shot -3.

I have Kisner, Streb, and Bohn on my fantasy team and I'm barely in the money. And only had 1 guy miss the cut. It's about time to give up on this fantasy golf stuff.

How does the rule work? Can he replace the putter since it is the end of the 18 hole round? I can't recall this ever happening before.

He said he has an extra in his locker and is allowed to use it now. He didn't seem too excited about that though. I can't imagine his staying with the wedge, no way in hell.

To be fair, Streb isn't the most energetic/personal guy in the world. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but you're not gonna get a whole lot of info out of him in an interview.
