Yep, so untalented and boring.

GET REGGIES DICK OUT OF YOUR MOUTH. I never said he wasn't exciting. Put him ON CAL and they are STILL CAL. Put Tebow or VY on Cal and they are in the NC discussion.

rush 9 yards
rush 1 yard
pass 35 yards (fumble for being retarded)
rush 2 yards
rush 1 yard
pass 6 yards
rush 18 yards
rush 4 yards
pass 12 yards

i remember having the same argument with bush fanboys who STILL thought he deserved the heisman after that game

oh, and vince young had 467 yards. from scrimmage

EVEN INCLUDING the bullshite fumble play and worthless pass at the end, bush had 177 yards from scrimmage

to compare, vince had 200 yards rushing

I am with YOU on this. I have said forever that VY should have won the Heisman that year. AND BUSH was just a factor of being a VERY GOOD player on a GREAT TEAM. SOME just don't get this.

and let me RE-add

using "total yards" is bullshite, and this is a perfect example why

who gives a shite that bush had 100 yards on 5 kickoff returns? that's a 20 ypr average (nothing special)

As far as college backfields go

Campbell/Williams/Brown from 2004 Auburn have backed it up the most going into the NFL.

Dorsey was a nobody. Leinhart and White have been NFL garbage. Also Bush has been anything truly special.

This is the stat that BOGGLES MY mind about VY. 22-30 for 290 yds in the GAME OF HIS LIFE!!!! SORRY CAM CAN'T even compare to this.

Tebow is the correct answer.

Also I don't know why Vince is getting sucked off about the his championship game win. The USC defense was not spectacular.

Doesn't matter. THE GAME is what it was about and VY was NOT known for his passing skills. He proved ME wrong that game with his passing yards.

467 total yards

he's also the only 3,000/1,000 QB in the BCS (playing i'd guess 3 quarters per game on average)

they weren't 2004-level (which was bad arse) but they were a solid D

Not really . They gave up 366 yds per game. However they avg.580 yds per game against a decent Texas D.

The thread title says COLLEGE FB player. How one performs in the NFL changes nothing/zero in college.

Well the Auburn backfield never got nearly as hyped. They were studs that also proved worth when they went to the NFL.

It wasn't like I was bring up decent college players and saying solid NFL careers put them in the discussion. I was just stating they probably didn't get the media attention and are typically forgotten or overlooked.

Fresno State 427 yards - 42 points.

Between 2003-2008 it was the worst D USC had.

still one of the most perplexing moves I've ever seen. I wasn't going for SC, but why Reggie, why?!
